At the General Election in Tewkesbury on 5th May 2005, 45453 votes were cast (approximately 63% of the total number of eligible voters) with the following result:

Laurence Robertson (Conservative): 22339 votes (+3%).

27.4%

Alistair Cameron (Liberal Democrat): 12447 votes (+1.2%).

20.2%

Charles Mannan (Labour): 9179 votes (-6.7%).

3.3%

Robert Rendell (Green Party): 1488 votes (+3.3%).
