Local Lib Dem activists have been working with residents on the best way to increase the amount of provision for young people in the area.
Nigel Adcock, one of the activists who has been leading on the issue said “Recently we asked residents to complete a local survey, with a number of questions about the provision of services for young people in the area. It’s clear from the results that there is a clear gap in amenities for children over 5, so I will be speaking with local community groups on the best way forward.”
Residents suggested a range of ideas for amenities in the survey such as youth clubs, skate parks, woodland play areas, and even a play pool.
Nigel added “I’m keen to explore a range of options and hope families and young people can help me find things that everyone will enjoy.”
