Celebrating the reopening of The Apple Tree, Woodmancote

Cllr Cheryl Agg and Tewkesbury Borough Mayor Cllr George Porter joined the Tewkesbury MP to celebrate the reopening of The Apple Tree in Woodmancote following a refurbishment. 

In a time of challenge for local hospitality following the Autumn Budget, the reopening of The Apple Tree is an extremely welcome development and a real asset to the local community, proven by the packed pub on reopening day. 

Cllr Agg said: 

"It’s fantastic to see investment going into our local pub at a time when pubs across this area are facing real challenges from government decisions, including VAT, National Insurance Contributions and business rates. The transformation really is stunning, and the doors are now officially open again! Do drop in and take a look - we’re very lucky to have this gem back in the community."
