Cllr Dr Kate Usmar supporting local community groups
Dr Kate Usmar, the County Councillor for Tewkesbury East division, has been boosting local community groups through funding opportunities. The Grassroots Community Fund is a small pot of money for each councillor to dedicate to local groups which support people's health and wellbeing.
Kate has visited many groups across the division, and designated funds to support all sorts of groups, including Northway Pantry, Mystique Twirlers, a Dementia Cafe, Warm Spaces, a local cricket club, and to assisting a SEND coffee morning/playgroup.
Cllr Usmar said:
“I am delighted to be able to allocate funding to groups who need support. Visiting local community groups has been a real highlight - I look forward to being able to support more groups wherever possible."
Her commitment to the community is unwavering, and she continues to seek groups across the division in need of support.
