As the county councillor for Severn Vale division, Cllr Richard Stanley has been reaching out to groups and organisations across the area to offer his support using the designated funding from his Grassroots Neighbourhood Fund.

The fund is designated to improving health and wellbeing, help to create resilient communities, and to tackle health inequalities. Richard collaborated with Kyle Hotchkins from Saving lives with bleed kits CIC to allocate the funding to suitable locations across the Severn Vale. These include McDonalds on Tewkesbury Road, and Gotherington Village Hall.

Richard said:

“Bleed kits are must-haves in our communities. They really can be the difference between life and death, and I am so proud to be working with Kyle to provide 13 kits across this division. My sincere thanks go to Kyle, the officers at Gloucestershire County Council, every venue that is hosting these kits, and those who support this fantastic initiative.”
