Cllr Cheryl Agg

Gloucestershire County Councillor for Winchcombe & Woodmancote

I’m Cheryl Agg, your Liberal Democrat County Councillor for Winchcombe & Woodmancote, Tewkesbury Borough Councillor for Cleeve Hill and Woodmancote Parish Councillor.

I’m passionate about representing our local communities and making sure residents’ voices are heard at every level of local government. Whether it’s roads and transport, protecting our environment, supporting local services or tackling issues that matter in our villages and towns, I believe local councillors should be visible, accessible and willing to listen.

As Chair of Gloucestershire County Council’s Highways & Transport Scrutiny Committee, I have a particular interest in ensuring that our roads, footways and transport infrastructure are properly maintained and that public money is spent wisely.

I also serve on Corporate Overview & Scrutiny, Joint Economy Climate Change & Waste Scrutiny, Fire & Rescue Scrutiny, Audit & Governance, Appeals, and Commons & Rights of Way.

I’ve been a parish councillor in Woodmancote since 1997 and a Tewkesbury Borough Councillor for Cleeve Hill since 2023. I was elected to Gloucestershire County Council in May 2025, giving me the opportunity to represent the wider Winchcombe & Woodmancote Division.

I’m here to listen, represent and get things done for our communities.
