Cllr Dr Kate Usmar visits Roadmender in action in Northway

Cllr Dr Kate Usmar joined Gloucestershire Highways in Northway to see the work of the Roadmender machine in improving our roads. As part of the Lib Dem manifesto, we committed to improving our local roads. The new administration is taking new measures and assessing different techniques for efficiency and effectiveness. The Roadmender is proven to be effective in providing long-term patching.

Cllr Usmar said:

“We are trialing a number of methods and techniques to ensure the taxpayer's money goes as it should. The Lib Dems are committed to ensuring our roads are fit for purpose and are not constantly fixed with botch jobs that don't last. This is a really positive step forward for Northway residents.”
