Tewkesbury Borough Council's leader, Cllr Richard Stanley, completed his wing walk on Wednesday 19 August. He has raised over £1,600 so far which is all going to the James Hopkins Trust, a charity that supports children with lime-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Richard said:
“The experience was unbelievable. As I said before, I am terrified of heights so this was a huge challenge. I want to thank everyone who has donated to this amazing charity in support of my wing walk, and to my family and friends for getting me through the nerves!”
